A prosperous and a promising future for Ghana devoid of poverty is in the hands of a well-educated and informed woman
Donate NowFemale Empowerment Initiative is an organization (FEEM) with the aim of causing a positive impact in society through women both the young and old. We have identified that, to solve society's numerous problems of which poverty is one, there is the need to invest in women especially in their education.
As an organisation, the education of girls has been part of our core mandate as it serves as a catalyst for positive change in society. We work to ensure that girls are supported in the best way possible through education by supporting them with some of their educational needs which includes the payment of their fees.
On that note, we are happy to start FEEM’s scholarship opportunity for girls in Ghana. We set off this agenda with our first scholarship recipient, Christabel Ampomah. Christabel is from the Central Region of Ghana and is the daughter of a single mother. Christabel seems to be the only one amidst her siblings working her way through the higher educational ladder.
We are hopeful that this opportunity will lead to a successful completion of her studies thereby making her a beacon of hope for her entire family. The scholarship package includes a laptop, annual tuition payment and a stipend. Our goal is that many other girls will be supported in the long run hence we are open to any form of support.

Our aim is that girls become fully immersed in matters of their bodies and how to be assertive in order to refute and object sexual advances that will be detrimental to their bright futures. Through these efforts we can curb unplanned pregnancies to its barest minimum. #FEEM
